Avocado Deep Conditioning Treatment

Looking for the perfect way to soften your tresses naturally? Check out this amazing hair care recipe featuring all natural organic ingredients! 

4 tablespoons of honey, coconut nectar, or agave nectar

4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

1 small organic avocado

1 small jar of organic mayonnaise

Grab a medium size bowl and pour in your preference of honey, coconut nectar or agave nectar, then add in your extra virgin olive oil. Proceed to opening up your avocado, remove the pit, mash it up to a creamy perfection, then add it to your other ingredients. Part your hair into 4-6 sections and began to apply the contents to the roots of your hair all the way down to the tips. Once you have completed your application, apply a plastic bag to your entire head. To really get the best out of this hair treatment, pop a damp towel into the dryer for 2-3 minutes, then wrap the towel around the plastic bag. Using a hot towel will help to process your hair, seal in moisture, penetrate the cuticle and strengthen the cortex of each hair strand. This treatment can be left on from anywhere to 30 minutes, to a few hours. If you have any of the treatment left, by all means store them in the refrigerator as this is a treatment that you will not want to waste!

Healthy Green Smoothie For Long, Strong, Healthy Hair & Healthy Body


This simple Green Smoothie is a great way to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into your diet. I promise it is delicious and nutritious!

ingredients:

1 large orange, peeled and segmented
2 carrots
1/2 of a large banana, cut into chunks
6 large strawberries
2 cups spinach
1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt 
1 cup ice

directions:
1. Put all of the ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

Make sure you use a powerful blender that will puree the orange, spinach, ice, etc. Pour in an air-tight container and freeze. Make sure you take the smoothie out of the freezer about 30 minutes before you want to drink it. You can also store the smoothie in the refrigerator.
